What a bizarre turn!

Jack passes a naked chance roll. Will makes a bold move at just the right time. Thomas with an NPR.

Turn 26 Summary
Doug runs Woodward on the line for free at 80. Don takes the Woodward 60's for free at 60.

Sean finishes his Larned line at 80. Jack gets the initiative at 100 and careens through Larned on the line with a chance roll (naked 6). John takes the slow path through Larned at 80 for free.

Will gets the initiative at 120. Amazingly, he finds an open line on Larned and dumps the rest of his wear to take it. Tim, at 80, takes the Larned line for free.

Thomas' RM plot puts him on the outer rail of Larned at 80.

Turn 27 Deadline: Monday, December 12th @ 12 noon EST (5 p.m. GMT)

Lots of dice rolling this Monday morning...

Turn 27 Summary
Doug makes the turn onto Washington Blvd. at 80 on the line. Don grabs the line at 100.

Sean reaches for the dice cup at 100 on the Woodward line for a chance roll (naked 6). Jack plots 100 then taps the brakes on the tables (naked 7) down to 80. He follows the Williams through the groove.

William tests his brakes to get down to 80 (naked 6). He grabs the Woodward line. John gets the initiative at 140 then brakes down to 120 on the tables (naked 11). Wear loss and broken brakes ensue as smoke is seen coming from the Toleman.

Tim, at 120, has no place to park and is forced to brake to 100. With no instructions or defaults in place, he drops a wear for the privilege. Thomas finishes out Larned on the outer rail at 80.

A spin from John spreads out the peleton...

Turn 28 Summary
Doug runs the RR groove at 80 for free. Don stays hot on his tail, taking both the Washington & RR lines for free at 80.

Sean pulls in front of the Washington corner on the line at 100. Jack continues the Woodward line at 80.

John, at 80, rolls on the chance table in the 60's (naked 7). His spinout creates a hazard that must be circumvented by those behind. Will is forced to the outer rail for free at 80.

Tim plots 100 then seeing the blockage, drops to 80 with 1sp (modified 7). He burns his last tire in the Woodward 60. Thomas grabs the Woodward line at 100.

Turn 29 Deadline: Thursday, December 15th @ 12 noon EST (5 p.m. GMT)
Get 'em all in by tomorrow morning and we roll out early.

A corner too far...

Yesterdays travel brings me to Chicago. I'll be here for about a week and ought to be able to process a few more turns.

Turn 33 Summary
Doug runs the Chicane at 80 for free and is poised to bring home the hardware next turn. Don takes the Ford at 60 for free.

Sean pulls into Ford Corner at 60 for free. Jack pulls up to Ford at 60, avoiding the dice cup.

Tim tries his luck one last time. He runs into the GM on the line at 100 using his last 2 chips for the dice roll (modified 10). The boxcars put him into the side of the Renaissance Center!

Will pulls up to the GM on the line at 100. Thomas stays on the the tailpipe of the Spirit, also at 100. John finishes the Joe Louis at 80.

Doug takes the checkered flag!

Turn 34 Summary
Doug uses his last chip to push his engine to 120 (modified 5). He crosses the finish line in first place!

Don and Sean run the Chicane line at 100 for free. Jack turns the Ford corner at 60.

At 80, Will takes the GM line then rolls the dice as he races into the Ford (naked 2).

Thomas plots 100 but without a route provided for the GM corner, he takes the outer rail with his big chip (modified 4). This is just as well - if Thomas had taken the GM line he would have found himself in the Ford at +40 and an automatic crash.

John runs the GM on the groove at 80 for free.

Mater removes the carnage of Tim's car from the track.

Turns 35 through 37: I'll auto-plot the cars to put this one to bed.
