Claudio sent me proof of his plot. It was lost in space...

Speed: 140. With the line occupied by Kevin, he was pushed into the 120 and a roll on the chance table. A naked 9 puts his car into a spin.

I'll make the corrections to the track in the morning if I can.

The track & chart have been corrected for Claudio's spin.

Also, the chance rolls resulting from Tim C's crash were not necessary. As pointed out by Chris (thank you), when a car crashes from not having enough wear, passing cars do not roll. No adjustments to the adjudication are necessary but I wished to be sure everyone knows what the rule is.

Turn summary to come later, but I'll leave you with this:
Bob Cutlass: You know, I don't think anyone expected this. The rookie sensation came into the season unknown, but everyone knows him now.

Congrats, Dave, on winning your first ever race!

1st: Dave
2nd: Jeff
3rd: William

Sorry for the delay...

Turn 40 Summary
Dave gets the checkered flag and waves to the gallery as he rolls across the finish line at 140. Jeff pushes top speed to 160 (naked 9) and ekes out just enough power to grab 2nd. William also pushes to 160 (naked 6) and finishes in a close 3rd.

Kevin pulls out of the Park Bend at 140. Claudio restarts at 40. Tony runs the Park line at 140 for free. Tim B. takes the outside Park at 120 - what is that blue car up to?

John clips his last tire at 100 in the Eakins line. Joe takes the inner Eakins 60 at 80 for his last wear. Rando runs the Kelly's 100 followed by the Eakins line at 100 for a wear.

At 120, Jim takes the Kelly's line for free and burns his last 2 tires on the Eakins line. Giuseppe pulls up to Eakins on the line at 100. Chris plots 140 then taps down to 120 on the table (naked 8). He takes the Kelly's line for free before cutting to the inside of the #94. At 120, Will runs Kellys on the line for free but then has no place to go and must brake down to 100 for a wear.

Three more cars cross the line...

Turn 41 Summary
Kevin takes 4th place at 140. Claudio pushes his engine to get to 100 (naked 6). Tony passes the limping #18 at 160 to grab 5th. Tim B. rolls the dice at 200 (naked 5) and buzzes the crews on pit row. He'll get to keep 6th place but his team gets fined $10,000 for the impertinent driving.

John rolls through Park on the line at 140 for free. Joe also follows the groove at 140 and pulls alongside the #28 with the bonus. Rando clips his last tire at 160 on the Park Towne line.

Jim pulls up to the Bend on the line at 140. Chris sheds 2 wear in the Eakins 80's at 120. Giuseppe drops his last wear at 100 on the Eakins line. Will takes the Eakins groove for free at 80.

Turn 42 Deadline: Friday, April 22nd @ 8 a.m. EDT (12 noon GMT)

Four more cars cross the finish line! I'll go ahead and run us through the end of the race. There are no dice rolls that can change the outcome.

An NPR from Giuseppe. If you did send a plot, please forward the evidence and I'll adjust the results.

Turn 42 Summary
Claudio takes 7th place at 140. John pushes to 200 with 2sp (modified 3) to give the race fans a thrill. Joe crosses at 160 for 9th. Rando pushes to 180 (naked 3) and a 10th place finish.

Jim runs the Bend on the groove at 140 for free. Chris clips his last tire on the Park line at 160. Giuseppe's RM plot takes him through the Park 120's at 120 for free. Will takes the Park line at 120 (?).

See final results in next post.

Thanks for the race Mike.

Personally I think the track is too narrow for that many cars. For an exhibition it was fun, but I wouldn't want to run a points race on it. It was very interesting picking my way through traffic and watching other guys do the same. Overall I had a good time. And all the drivers seems to race clean all the way except maybe for the hot-dog in the 99 car that mucked up the hairpin with a spin :)
