I officially have twice the wear of three of my opponents (including the leader, far off in the distance ahead of me).

Two cars at the start line for lap 2. I hadn't considered that pit lane - I suppose it could be used as a normal travel lane.

Turn 13 Summary
William pushes his top speed to 160 with 2 chips (modified 5). Jeff never lets go of the tailpipe on the #8 at 140 and the bonus.

Kevin runs the Park Towne line for free at 140. Dave drops a tire in the same groove at 160 and grabs the bumper on the #50.

Tony red-lines his engine to 160 with a dice roll on the acceleration table (naked 9 and no harm done). He hits the groove in the Bend for a wear. Claudio, also at 160, is forced off the Park Towne line and sheds 2 wear in the 120 spot.

Giuseppe continues Eakins at 100. Will takes the Eakins 80's for a wear at 100 and tucks in behind the #94. Tim C. cruises through the Eakins line at 80 for free.

Chris, at 80, follows the groove in the Oval for free and grabs the bumper on the #6. Jim sheds a tire in the Eakins line at 100 and slots in behind the #24. Tim B. burns a wear at 100 on the Eakins line and rounds out the big chase pack behind the #38.

Rando takes it up to 120, uses the Kelly's line for free, and drops 2 tires on the Eakins line. Joe, also at 120, takes the Kelly's 120's for free and grabs the line in front of the Oval. John hangs onto his wear, taking the Annex line for free at 60.

Lots of side by side racing coming up w/ one giant clump of cars in the 3-wide.

Turn 14 Summary
William pulls into the narrow portion of the track at 140. Jeff comes alongside the #8 at 140 plus the slip.

Kevin gives it all he's got at 140. Dave is on the numbers of the #50 at 160. Tony & Claudio trade paint along the stretch at 160.

Giuseppe takes the Bend on the line at 140 for free. Will does the same and pulls alongside the #94 with the bonus. At 140, Tim C. follows the crowd before tucking in behind the Mickey D's car.

Chris gets the bonus at 140 and grabs the bumper on the #6 after taking the Bend for free on the line. At 140, Jim also gets the bonus and the line, making it 3-wide coming out of Park Towne. Tim B. continues to keep tabs on the big pack at 140 and the slip.

Rando grabs the Park Towne line at 120. Joe takes the line on the Oval for a wear at 100. John takes the Kelly's line for free at 120 and finally dumps some wear, 2 on the Eakin's line.

Uh oh... that big pack of cars going into the Franklin corner next turn looks troubling.

Turn 15 Summary
William drops a wear on the Academy line at 100. Jeff, also at 100, is pushed into the Academy 80's for a wear.

Kevin and Dave both plot 140, rubbing paint all the way to the Franklin.

Tony tucks in behind the #50 at 160. Claudio pulls back on the gas pedal at 140 and pulls into the exhaust of the #2 car.

Giuseppe and Will race side-by-side at 160. Tim C. stays on the bumper of the #94, also at 160. Chris pulls up next to the #6 at 160 and the bonus, making it 3-wide. Jim slots in next to the #24 at 160. Tim B. drops the hammer and closes the box at 180 as he tucks in behind the #38.

Rando takes the Park Towne line for free at 140. Joe sheds a tire on the Park Town line at 160 and grabs the bumper on the #29. John pulls into the Bend on the line at 140 for free and is ready to use his big engine next turn.

Thanks for your patience while the technical issues are handled. The Big 6 squeeze into the Franklin relatively unscathed.

Turn 16 Summary
At 120, William extends his lead as he clips 2 tires in the Logan 80's. Jeff finishes the Academy at 100 and dives into the Logan 80's for a wear.

Dave gets the initiative and moves into third at 120. He sheds a tire in the Franklin corner followed by 2 more on the Academy line. Kevin takes the Academy line for a wear at 100. Tony over brakes to 100 for a wear then drops another on the Academy line. Claudio grabs the line before the Academy Corner at 100.

Both Giuseppe and Will leave some space behind them by plotting 140 and shedding 2 tires apiece in the Franklin Institute. Chris wisely plays it safe at 120 and slides in behind the #94. Tim C. tucks in behind the #6 at 140. With no place to go at 140, Jim has to brake down to 120 for a wear. He sits on the bumper of the #38. Tim B. reforms the box at 120, settling in behind the #24.

Rando races across the s/f line at 160. Joe pulls up on the numbers of the #29 at 160 and the bonus. John drops the hammer at 180 in front of the grandstand.

Looking forward to seeing the inaugural lap times on this Philadelphia street course!

Will anyone catch the Budweiser #8?
Tony, that's just cruel...

Turn 17 Summary
Extending his lead, William rolls through the Library Bend on the line at 120 for a wear. Jeff finishes Logan at 100.

Dave clips a tire in the Logan 80's at 100. Kevin, also at 100, burns a wear in the 80's and sits on the bumper of the #17.

Tony enters Logan's Circle in the 80's at 80. Claudio is pushed out to the Logan 100's at 100.

Giuseppe careens around the Academy line at 120 for 2 wear. Will drops a wear in the same line and tucks in behind the #94. Chris grabs the Academy line and runs it for a wear at 100. Tim C. starts the line at 100 but then abandons it with the #38 in the way. He ducks inside and sheds a total of 2 wear. Tim B. gets the initiative at 100 and pulls into Academy on the line and a tire. Jim plots 80 and an inside lane preference (?).

Rando clips a tire in the Franklin corner at 120. Joe grabs the bumper on the #29 at 100. John makes contact with the pack at 160.

I'm the wear boss, yeah!
But ... I would trade 6 wear to put me in Tony's spot 11 spaces ahead of me on the track.
There's going to be a bunch of cars running on fumes the last lap.

Wow... William just created a 6-space gap on the field!

Turn 18 Summary
William puts his big chip into a top speed check (no roll necessary) as he boogies down the straight at 160. Jeff takes the Library line for free at 100. Dave finishes Logan at 100 and follows the line in the Library Bend. Kevin sets up the Library line at 100.

Tony continues his ride through Logan at 80. Claudio must proceed through the Logan 100's at 100. Giuseppe stays on the bumper of the #2 at 80. Will takes the Logan 100's at 100.

Chris gets the initiative at 120 but with no place for his Ford, drops to 100 on the brake table with 1sp (modified 8). He takes the outside for free. Tim C. clips a tire in the Logan 80's at 100. Tim B. stays on the tailpipe of the #24 at 100 for a wear.

Jim takes the Academy 60 at 60 for free. Rando burns a wear on the Academy line at 100 and ducks in front of the #99. Joe hits the Academy line for free at 80. At 100, John can't finish the line ahead so he pulls into the Academy 80's for a wear.

Awwww, our first NPR (no plot received) :frown:. Giuseppe takes an RM plot which, under Redscape rules, is not favorable.

Turn 19 Summary
William runs the lines in both 22nd St. and Pennsy at 120 for 1 wear. Jeff pulls up to 22nd St. on the line at 120. Dave makes contact with the #12 Ford at 160. Kevin clips 2 tires at 140 on the Library line.

At 140, Tony sheds 2 tires on the Library line. Claudio continues Logan at 100 and uses the Library line for free. Giuseppe's RM plot keeps him going at 80 and puts him on the outside.

Tim C. continues at 100 and is able to grab the Library line. Will tucks in behind the #24 Chevy at 100. Chris stays on the tailpipe of the #6, also at 100. Tim B. is able to move up a spot at 100, pulling in behind the #94.

Rando, Jim, Joe, and John create a conga line through the Logan 80's at 100, each for a wear.
