Oh dear... Brad is creating havoc in the Gallery!*

I am hesitant to comment but I will anyway: Brad's plot is legal under Redscape House Rules. His plot is in obvious service to his race via impeding others. You may voice your disagreement on the strategy but at no point will I allow any driver to disparage another (subject to removal from the league).

Turn 30 Summary
Chris breaks away at 100 through the Promenade for free. Brad brakes to 40 and hangs some cars up in the Gallery. Fabio, at 60 is forced into the Gallery 80's. Tim runs the Gallery 60's at 80 for a wear then hits the blockage and must tap the brakes for another.

Mike takes the Gallery 60's for free at 60. John clips a tire at 60 in the Raffles 40. Kal gets the initiative at 80. He drops a wear on the Raffles line followed by another in the Gallery 60's. Cody burns a wear in the Raffles 40 at 60.

Rando takes the Raffles line for free at 60. Todd tosses a tire on the Raffles line at 80. At 100, Will erases almost all his tires, 2 in the Esplanade line, and 2 more in the Raffles 60's.

I wish no ill will on any other driver. I wish to create a gap between the other drivers and use my acceleration to advantage. I continue to enjoy racing with the high quality of strategy and racing we have here.

That being said, lambaste away!

Well, Brad, it's a good thing you're not concerned about making friends! What a move! I can't say that I'm entirely unhappy about it, because any congestion behind me will only help, but I did NOT see that coming.

And Tim - what are you doing? I thought last turn that you'd run 80 into the 40's to steal 2nd place out from under Brad and Fabio. And then this turn you only went 80! Even if Brad hadn't blocked everyone, Fabio is still sitting on that 60 space and you don't complete the corner, right? Or am I missing something? You've been doing great all race, but I'm just not following your line of thought here.

Basically people are just going slow and I don't get it. Fabio will back me up here. Speed for all!

Edit:

A thought just occurred to me... Tim, did you see Brad's move coming? Is that why you plotted 80?

tim could of spent 2 wear, went through 40 space, then forced pass brad. tim would of been in front brad(to never see him again other than in his rear view mirror)

Chris puts the race into lap 3... finally!

Turn 31 Summary
Chris crosses the S/F line at 140 and takes a commanding lead. After bottling up the peleton, Brad runs the Promenade at 100 for free.

Fabio picks it up to 80 and escapes the hell that is the Gallery. Tim also turns it up to 80 through the 80's and tucks in behind the #17 Ford. With wear already paid, John accelerates to 80 through the 60's and pulls alongside the #21.

Mike finishes the Gallery through the 60's at 60. Kal, at 80, runs up next to the #25. At 100, Cody was thinking bold but has to burn off speed through the Gallery 80's and gets docked 2 wear.

Rando's 100 through the Gallery 60's cost 2 tires but gets him to the exit row. Todd and Will plod along at 60, perhaps hoping a generous race patron will chuck a bottle of Tiger through the window.

Two drivers with a serious threat to the lap record and a third over at the moment. But overall sector 2 speeds were down this lap.

Cody goes bonkers with the dice (requiring his own paragraph) while a big peleton forms on the 3-wide...

Turn 32 Summary
Chris puts it in cruise control at 100 through the Sheares 100's. Brad maxes out at 140. Fabio takes the Promenade 100's for free at 100.

Tim B. clips a wear in the Promenade 100's at 120 to pull alongside the #17. John takes the outside Promenade for free at 120 and tucks in behind the DeWalt Ford. Mike stays on the tail of the #21 at 100 plus the bonus. Kal finds room with the wide track at 100 plus the slip.

Cody plots 160 with a roll on the top speed table using 1sp (modified 3). He then barrels through the Promenade 100's for 2 wear and the chance table, using his last 2 sp (modified 0). An unsuccessful pass (naked 11) causes him to brake to 120 for a wear and a final roll on the brake table (naked 6).

Rando watches the fun from behind at 100 for free through the Promenade. Todd finishes up the Gallery at 60. Will enters the Gallery at 60 for free.

Chris Long, Major Kudos for absolutely running away with this race. You have crushed it. Bravo!

Brad, your turn 30 move had a fairly powerful affect on a large part of the field. One effect was on me, at the tail end of "the middle" -- it helped me to claw back much of that mushy middle while conserving wear.

Some interesting stuff here.

We shall see. My move was based upon the standings, and I needed people to pass John. I am just trying to avoid relegation into C2.

Look at that pack of cars in front of Sheares! Did you hear some grinding metal on those brake checks?

Turn 33 Summary
Chris clips a tire in the Sheares' 60's at 80. Brad rolls in to the Sheares' 100's for free at 100. Fabio jumps into the Sheares' 100's at 140 for 2 wear.

Tim B. pulls up in front of the corner on the inside at 120. John plots 160 then taps down to 140 on the tables (naked 9). Mike pushes top speed to 160 w/ 2 sp (modified 3) before dropping back to 140 w/ 1sp (modified 9). We're 3-wide going into Sheares!

Kal tucks in behind the #21 at 120. Cody grabs the tailpipe on the #28 at 140. Rando slots in behind the #25 at 140 plus the bonus. A block of six cars headed into Sheares! To quote Brad (not for the first time), we're trying to shove 10 pounds of %^&* into a 5 pound sack.

Todd cruises along the Promenade 100 at 100 for free. Will comes out of the Gallery at 60.

A spun car, a few misplots, and a pass make for an exciting turn...

Turn 34 Summary
Chris runs the Boulevard line for free at 100. Brad clips a wear in the Sheares' 60's at 80. Fabio drops to 100 in the 60's (wear already paid) and tucks in behind the #50.

Tim B. takes the Sheares' 60's at 100 for 2 wear. John jumps into the 100's at 100 (?) then brakes down to 80 on the tables (naked 7). He enters the 60's for a wear. At 100, Mike runs into the Sheares' 40 (?) for 2 wear and a chance roll with his big chip (modified 8). He gets in the gravel and spins.

Kal, at 120, runs the 100's, makes a forced pass on the #28 w/ 2sp (modified 0), and drops 2 wear and a chance roll w/ 2sp in the 60's (modified 1). Cody, also at 120, drops a wear in the 100's and with no place to go and has to brake down to 80 for a wear and brake roll (naked 7).

Rando plays it wise at 80 to slide in beside the #38. Todd hits his top speed across the S/F line at 160. Will runs the Promenade 120's for free at 120.
