I'm really pissed at myself for mis-reading the corner. It should have been obvious that the exit row might be blocked - I would have braked to 80 to avoid the chance. I think Baker now has a clear shot at the GP title.

Sigh... :sour:

why ? the r.m. ask. if i go down to 0 wear i am totally dead.(i am pretty dead any way). as long as you have a wear then in theory you can still race and use your brakes. also i do not do naked chances unless it is for something important. 6 th place does not count as important.

I was thinking you should have taken the 80 and cleared the corner. You were already going to spend 1 wear in the 60's and using the 80's at 100 wouldn't change that.

Thanks for keeping my dice cup warm...

Turn 35 Summary
Chris races out of the Boulevard corner at 140. Brad takes the Boulevard line for free at 100. Tim B. gets the initiative at 140 and clips 2 tires in the Boulevard 100's. Fabio, grabs the Boulevard line at 100.

Kal has the initiative at 120 and with the slip, passes the #17, then swerves into the Boulevard 100's for a wear. Mike comes out of his spin at 20. At 80* Cody drops his last wear in the Sheares' 40 along with a chance roll (naked 8). He spins in the same gravel that took out the #25. Rando takes the 60's for free at 60.

Todd rolls into the Sheares' 100's (?) before hurtling into the 60's. He burns a wear and applies 1sp to the chance table (modified 5). Will passes the S/F line at 120 to put all the cars in the final lap.

Turn 36 Deadline: Wednesday, April 6th @ 12 noon EDT (4 p.m. GMT)

* Cody plotted 100 but lost the wear advantage with the braking. His max is 80.

The race for the top six is getting real interesting...

I figure to drop at least two more spots. That should leave it open for Tim but he will have to hold off the wear hogs and Brad. Brad, Kal, & Rando will be battling it out for the sixth spot in the GP. Last lap in the last race, fellas - don't hold anything back!

Driver / GP points

Mike 49
Tim B. 48
Fabio 37
John 35
Chris 34
Brad 31
------
Kal 22
Rando 14
Tim C. 10
Cody 8
Will 8

A question for you: Why must I always fix your quotes?

Kal, that was freakin' brilliant forced pass two moves ago. I'm thinking you are looking fairly good for second place this race. Gonna make it hard for me to catch you in the season standings.

Mike, I never learned how to properly quote other posts.
