Turn 11 Summary
Fabio burns a tire on the the Esplanade line at 80. Chris follows the Esplanade groove at 80 for a wear as well.

Tim B. grabs the Esplanade line at 120. Brad pulls to the inside of the #21 at 120 plus the bonus. John, at 120 and the slip, tucks in behind the Air Force racer on the line. Tim C. tears out of Fullerton at 140 to keep up.

Will drops a wear on the Fullerton line at 80. Todd, also at 80, sheds 2 tires in the Fullerton 40 and grabs the rail.

Mike clips a tire on the Sling line at 80 and then another on the Fullerton line. At 80, Kal takes the line in the Sling for a wear and lines up on the Fullerton line. Rando drops a tire in the Sling on the line then ducks to the inside of the #3. Cody approaches the Singapore Sling on the line at 100.

Turn 12 Deadline: Wednesday, February 10th @ 12 noon EST (5 p.m. GMT)

I like how Kal is updating the Grand Prix standings with each turn. Here's my initial effort based on current track position. GP points are in parenthesis and tie-breaks are based upon highest finish. The top six will remain in C1 while the bottom six are relegated to C2.

Turn 12 Summary
Fabio sheds a wear on the Raffles line. Chris plots 100 but opts to drop to 80 w/ 2 skill (modified 7) to take the Raffles line for a wear.

Brad burns 2 tires in the Esplanade 60's at 100 and grabs the Raffles line. Tim B. drops a wear on the Esplanade line at 80 and ducks insdie the #50.

John takes the Esplanade line for a wear at 80. Tim C. rubs off some brake pad (1 wear) to drop to 60, taking the Esplanade line for free.

Todd grabs the Esplanade line at 120. Will is pushed to the rail, also at 120. Mike pulls out of Fullerton at 140 and grabs the bumper on the #6.

Kal drops a tire on the Fullerton line at 80. At 60, Rando burns a wear in the Fullerton 40 and tucks in behind the #3. Cody saves his wear in the Sling at 60 on the line before grabbing the next line.

Turn 13 Deadline: Friday, February 12th @ 8 a.m. EST (1 p.m. GMT)

Lots of wear falling off as cars snake along the Singapore riverfront...

Turn 13 Results
Fabio drops 2 more tires as he races through the Gallery 60's at 100. At 100, Chris stays hot on his tailpipe and is charged 2 wear in the Gallery 60's.

Tim B. burns a wear at 80 in the Raffles 60's. Brad sheds a wear on the Raffles line, passes the #21, and discards 2 more tires in the Gallery 40.

John saves his precious wear at 60 on the Raffles line. Tim C. clips a tire at 80 in the Raffles groove.

Will drops a wear in the Esplanade 60's and blocks the line for those behind. Todd starts the Esplanade line at 80 but has to jump off for a tally of 2 wear. At 100, Mike opts for the Esplanade 60's for 2 wear before ducking inside of the #6.

Kal pulls up to Esplanade on the line at 120. Rando, at 120 and the bonus, gets the inside position on the #3. Cody continues to save his tires at 60 on the Fullerton line.

Turn 14 Deadline: Monday, February 15th @ 12 noon EST (5 p.m. GMT)

FYI...

Fabio, Tim B., & Mike are guaranteed to stay in C1 for season 3 regardless of this race. John is in with a 9th place finish or better. In fact, the only way John is out is if the following were to occur:

1. John comes in 10th or worse.
2. Rando, Tim C., and/or Kal come in 1st and 2nd.
3. Brad comes in 3rd.

So, that's equivalent to betting a four horse wheel and keying Brad for show while placing a lay bet on John (I haven't been to a track in ages, John. Can you even do that?).

Yeah... I'd say John's in.

Turn 14 Summary
Fabio pulls out of the Gallery at 120 and takes the Promenade 120's for free. He parks it on the outside rail. Chris finishes Gallery at 100 and takes the Promenade 100 for free. Brad increases his speed to 100 (wear already paid) in the Gallery 60's.

Tim B. takes the Gallery 60's for a wear at 80. John burns a tire in the Gallery 60's, also at 80. Tim C. pulls into the Gallery 60's for free at 60.

Todd sheds a tire in the Raffles line at 80. At 100, Mike drops 2 wear on the Raffles line. Will clips a tire in Raffles at 80 on the line.

Turn 15 Summary
Fabio crosses the S/F line at 140. Chris does the same and tucks in behind the #17. Brad sheds a wear in the Promenade 100 at 120 and loses contact with the leaders.

Tim B. takes the Promenade 100 for free at 100. John finishes the Gallery at 100 (wear already paid) and races toward the Promenade.

Tim C. continues in the Gallery at 60. Mike gets the initiative at 100 and burns 2 tires in the Gallery 60's. Todd, at 80, drops a wear in the Gallery 60's. Will saves some wear in the Gallery 60's at 60.

Rando takes the Raffles line at 80 for a wear and knocks another tire off in the Gallery 60's. Kal plays it cool at 60 through the Raffles line for free. Cody decides it's time to use up some wear (2 to be exact) at 100 in the Esplanade line.

Turn 16 Deadline: Friday, February 19th @ 8 a.m. EST (1 p.m. GMT)

The leaders continue to duel while the rest are strung out behind.

Turn 16 Summary
Fabio runs the 100's in Sheares for free. Chris clips a tire in the Sheares 80 allowing him to pull even with the #17.

Brad pulls up to Sheares at 100. Tim C. hustles across the s/f line at 140. John takes the inside Promenade for free at 100.

Mike gets the initiative at 120 and drops yet another wear to run the Promenade 100. Tim C. takes the Promenade for free at 100. Todd finishes Gallery at 80.*

At 60, Will has time to wave to the grandstands in the Gallery. Rando continues the Gallery at 80 and pulls alongside the #6. Kal sheds 2 tires in the Gallery 40 before grabbing the bumper on the Valvoline car. Cody burns a tire on the Raffles line at 80 then clips 2 more in the Gallery 40.

*Note the changing speeds in a few of these corners - Todd could have increased speed to 100.

Turn 17 Deadline: Monday, February 22nd @ 12 noon EST (5 p.m. GMT)

Only 4 cars over 100mph.

Wow! What a race from Fabio and Chris. Lurking are Brad's marginally better engine and Tim B's prodigious wear advantage. Lots of race to go.

Turn 17 Summary
Fabio drops to 80 and sheds a wear in the Sheares' 60's. Chris also dumps some speed (80) but with wear already paid, he finishes the 60's for free.

Brad gets through Sheares in the 60's for a wear. Tim B. takes an outside route in Sheares for free at 100 with options in turn 18.

John pulls up to Sheares at 120. Mike comes alongside the numbers of the #28 at 160 by safely passing a top speed test w/ 1sp (modified 3). Tim C. grabs the bumper on the Texaco car at 160.

Todd takes the Promenade 100 for free at 100. Rando gets the initiative at 140 and clips a tire in the Promenade 120's before tucking in behind the #84. Will saves his wear at 120 through the 120's and pulls into the exhaust of the #18.

Kal pulls alongside the #6 after taking the Promenade 120's for free at 120 plus the bonus. Cody finishes the Gallery at 100 through the 60's, wear already paid.
