Tony is back with us and we're hopefully back on track (pun intended) for the long haul. Ken succeeds on a naked acceleration roll.

Next Deadline: Turn 10 due Wednesday, October 21 at 9am EDT/1pm UTC.

Turn 9 Results
Doug conserves wear by taking the Outside lane through Spoon at 100. Meng follows him in at 120 for free. Jim plots 140 and grabs the outside space just after Meng for a wear. Turyko also plots 140 and lines up just before the Spoon. All three of them use the shortest route through 200R.

Ken plots 140 and passes the acceleration roll (naked 5), lining up behind Turyko after taking the shortest route through 200R. Marshall plots 160 and takes the shortest route, lining up next to Ken. Giovanni plots 160 and burns off the excess speed through the outside of 200R to avoid the late brake. Simone continues through Hairpin at 100 and ends inside.

Dave plots 100 through the 60s in Hairpin for 2 wear. Chris takes the line at 80 for a wear, finishing next to Dave. Tony plots 80 through the 60s for a wear. Grant takes the Racing line for free at 60.

One correction from Turn 9, I missed counting Tony's wear spend, the total is correct now.

Next Deadline: Turn 11 plots due Friday, October 23 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC. Hey, we might make up a turn on C1 this week!

Turn 10 Results
Doug shoots out of the Spoon at his top speed of 140 (I'm thinking catapult style like he's in a food fight). Meng goes 100 to finish the outside lane of Spoon. Jim slows to 120 for the already paid wear and exits next to Meng. Turyko plots 100 and opts for the Inside for a wear, finishing behind Meng.

Ken plots 120 through the outside for a wear but is ineligible for a slip since he's going faster than Turyko. Marshall also plots 120 but is forced inside for 2 wear, he pulls in behind Jim. Giovanni also plots 120, taking the inside lane for 2 wear. Simone plots 120, starting the inside of the Spoon for a wear.

Dave, Chris, and Tony utilize the shortest route through 200R at 140 and keep pace ahead of Spoon. Grant plots 120 and pushes acceleration (naked 2), finishing on the inside of 200R.

Sorry for the delay, folks. Things got away from me a bit.

A couple of corrections: Turyko used a wear last turn that I did not deduct from his total, he should be at 15w heading into Turn 11. Chris used a wear in the Hairpin in turn 9, which I also neglected to deduct. He is at 18 heading into Turn 11.

This turn, an NPR from Tony and a couple people hitting the brakes. A reminder that if you want to attempt a forced pass, you need to say so in your plot. :)

Next Deadline: Turn 12 plots due Monday, October 26 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC.

Turn 11 Results
Doug continues at 140 through the inside of 130R. Jim plots 160 in an attempt to catch up. Meng goes 140 and lines up behind Jim. Turyko plots 160 but can't take a slip because he's going faster than Meng.

Marshall also plots 160, but runs out of room. He has to tap the brakes for a wear and lines up behind Meng. [RM Note: A forced pass attempt must be indicated to be taken. Marshall was eligible for a slip but did not indicate that he wanted to pass.] Giovanni plots 160 but does not have room for the slip or a forced pass, so he tucks in behind Turyko. Like Giovanni, Ken plots 160 with a slip and indicates a desire to forced pass but does not have room for any of that, so he must late brake for a wear and tuck in behind Marshall. Simone drops to 100 and takes the inside of the Spoon for the already-paid wear.

Chris gets the jump on Dave by plotting 120 through the inside for 2 wear and pulls up beside Simone. Dave follows Simone at 100 through the inside for a wear. NPR from Tony. The RM plot takes him into the outside of the Spoon at 100 for free. Grant plots 120 through the inside for 2 wear because Tony's blocking his preferred outside route.

The Chase Pack keeps chasing Doug, Chris eeks out a successful Top Speed test and another NPR from Tony (second consecutive, 4th overall).

I am going to seek a replacement driver for the light green car, first from the Buenos Aires race's new players, and then from a couple others in the pipe that Mike has interested. We will not delay during the search as the car is on a fast part of the track and the RM plots will keep pace for the next couple turns without issue.

Next Deadline: Turn 13 plots due Tomorrow, October 28 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline will be Thursday at 9am EDT/1pm UTC. For those of you in Arizona or not in the US, note that Daylight Saving Time Ends on Sunday, so standard deadline times beginning next week will change to 9am EST/2pm UTC.

Turn 12 Results
Doug keeps rolling at 140 and onto the line ahead of the Casio Triangle. Jim, Meng, and Turyko all have the same idea - plotting 140 (Meng with a Slip) through the 140s of 130R for free. Marshall and Giovanni follow their lead at 140 through the 140s, Marshall gaining the slip from Meng to finish outside of Turyko. Giovanni ordered the slip but didn't have the room to take it. Ken plots 160 with a slip, but because he's going faster than Marshall can't use it; he takes the 160s for free.

Chris plots 180 and rolls on the top speed table with 2s (mod 9) to jump out ahead of Simone. Simone plots 160 and lines up behind him. Dave plots 140 with a Slip on Simone to keep up. Grant continues at 120 through the Spoon Curve for the already-paid wear.

NPR from Tony. The RM plot continues the light green car at 100 for free and it stays to the outside.

Drivers - I'm pleased to announce that Joe M has taken over the light green car from Tony. He joins us from the Buenos Aires exhibition race.

Meng takes a chance in the Casio Triangle and it pays off. Chris is the first to spend wear in 130R as he catches up to the chase pack.

Next Deadline: Turn 14 plots due Tomorrow, October 30 at Noon EDT/4pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline is Monday, November 2 at 9am EST/2pm UTC (note the Daylight Savings time change in the US).

Turn 13 Results
Doug takes the Casio Triangle racing line at 100 for 2 wear. Meng plots 120 and heads for the racing line. He drops 2 wear and spends 2 skill on the chance roll (Mod 4) and gets back into 2nd place. Jim follows on the RL at 100 for a wear. He'll have to slow down or pay another wear to continue at 100 next turn. Turyko also goes 100 and grabs the racing line.

Marshall plots 100 with a slip on Meng, which takes him into the Casio 80s for a wear. Giovanni plots 100 as well, staying inside on approach to the corner. Ken goes 120 and finishes outside of Giovanni. Chris roars through the 140s of 130R at top speed for a wear, and lines up behind Giovanni.

Simone makes the most of that opportunity by plotting 140 with a slip through the 140s for free, and keeps pace with Chris. Dave plots 160 through the 160s for free. Grant also goes 160, but takes the 140s for a wear. Joe jumps in the light green car and goes top speed of 140 down the straight.

A messy turn as Simone miscalculates and careens into the wall in Casio Triangle going +80 in the 60 lane. Meng grabs Doug's tail while both of them complete their first lap, and we have 3 wide after the Casio Triangle exit.

Next Deadline: Turn 15 plots due Wednesday, November 4 at 9am EST/2pm UTC. I'll process early if I get all plots early.

Turn 14 Summary
Doug crosses the lap marker at 140. Meng pushes acceleration with 1s (mod 9) to exit the Casio Triangle at 180 and grabs Doug's spoiler. Jim pays an extra wear to continue at 100 on the racing line. Marshall does the same to continue at 100 through the 60s. Turyko spends 2 wear to take the line at 100 and squeezes in between Jim and Marshall.

Giovanni, Ken, and Chris all take the racing line at 100 for 2 wear, with Giovanni and Ken lining up outside of Marshall to make it 3 wide, with Chris at the end of the RL behind Giovanni. In an apparent misplot, Simone goes 140 and enters the Casio Triangle 80s for 2 wear and a chance roll. He rolls a naked 4, which allows him to continue but does not hit the brakes - the speed limit drops to 60 and he crashes trying to go +80.

Dave goes 120 and starts the Casio line for 2 wear - next turn he must slow down or take a chance roll when the speed limit drops. Grant cruises down the straight at 120. Joe goes 160 through the 140s of 130R for a wear.

We've got 2 rows of 3 across heading into the First Curve: This could get interesting! Thanks for the quick turnaround guys. Would love to pull a little closer to C1 in turns.

Next Deadline: Turn 16 plots due tomorrow, November 4 at 9am EST/2pm UTC (soft deadline). Hard deadline will be Thursday at the same time. Can we get more than 3 turns in this week?

Turn 15 Summary
Doug and Meng both plot 140, Doug heads for the Inside of First Curve for free while Meng takes the slip and pulls even on the Outside of First Curve for free. Jim heads down the straight at 140. Turyko goes 160 and pulls even with him.

Marshall, Giovanni, Ken, and Chris all plot 160. Marshall gets the slip off of Turyko and pulls even with he and Jim to the outside. Giovanni lines up behind Jim. Ken has to test acceleration with a skill point and rolls a modified 8, and he lines up next to Giovanni. Chris takes the slip from Giovanni and ends behind Marshall on the outside.

Dave slows to 100 to finish the Casio RL for the already-paid wear [RM note: this was added to the narrative in turn 14 but I didn't deduct from his total, this has been corrected]. Grant takes the line at 80 for a wear, which blocks it up for Joe who goes 100 and opts instead for the 80s for a wear.

The chase pack looks to negotiate First Curve without incident while Doug and Meng try to put some distance behind them.

Next Deadline: Turn 17 plots due tomorrow, November 6 at Noon EST/5pm UTC (soft deadline). Let's try to get a 4th turn in this week! Hard deadline will be Monday at 9am EST/2pm UTC.

Turn 16 Results
Doug and Meng each go 140, Doug taking the 100 space in First Curve for 2 wear and then the Racing Lines in S-Curve A, while Meng takes the 120 spaces for a wear and follows Doug onto the racing lines. Turyko gets the jump by plotting 160 then braking to 140 with 1s and a brakes test (mod 7). He takes the inside of First Curve for 2 wear. Jim plots 140 and heads outside in First Curve for a wear.

Marshall plots 120 and heads into First Curve on the inside for free. Giovanni goes 140 and pulls up next to Marshall to the outside. Ken and Chris go 100, each gaining a slip from Turyko and Marshall, respectively, which they ride into First Curve.

Dave goes 140 down the straight. Grant plots 140 and pushes acceleration with 2s (mod 5). Joe slows to 80 through the 60s for the already paid wear in Casio Triangle.

Got everything in after the soft deadline but well before the hard deadline. Let's keep up the pace!

Next deadline: Turn 18 plots due Monday, November 9 at Noon EST/5pm UTC (soft deadline). Let's aim for Monday, folks - I am not confident I will have time to process the turn on Tuesday.

Turn 17 Results
Doug and Meng each go 100 through the 100 space and take the shortest route through Dunlap. Turyko and Jim plot 140 through the S-Curve A racing lines, and Turyko pays a wear to head into the 120s of S-Curve B. Giovanni plots 140 so he gets to go ahead of Marshall, he drops a wear on the First Curve 120s and uses the S-Curve racing lines. Marshall plots 120 in the 100 space for a wear in First Curve, then takes the first racing line in S-Curve and heads to the 140s since Giovanni is blocking the second line.

Chris plots 120 through the outside of First Curve for free and ends inside ahead of S-Curve A. Ken plots 100 through the inside for free and starts the racing line. Dave goes 140 into the outside of First Curve for a wear. Grant and Joe charge down the straight at 140.

Thanks for getting your plots in so we could run a turn today! Keep up the great turnaround.

Next Deadline: Turn 19 plots due Wednesday, November 11 at 9am EST/2pm UTC (hard deadline). Outside chance I can get to process the turn tomorrow night if I have all plots, but not a great one.

Turn 18 Results
Doug goes 140 into Degner Curve in the 120 space for a wear and the racing line for another wear. Meng follows at 120 with a slip into the 120 space for free. Turyko and Jim each go 140, Turyko finishing the S-Curve for his already paid wear and Jim taking the same route for a wear. Giovanni goes 100 in the 100 space and the shortest route through Dunlap for free. [RM Note: I neglected to deduct Giovanni's wear last turn, so the total has been adjusted to 13w.] Marshall goes 120 in the 100 space for a wear and has to head outside in Dunlap B.

Ken goes 140 on the Racing Lines in S-Curve A for free and the 120s in S-Curve B for a wear. Chris goes 120 through the 120s in both parts of the corner for free, and lines up behind Ken. Dave continues at 140 and uses the racing lines for free in S-Curve A. Grant goes 140 on the outside of First Curve for a wear. Joe plots 160 and rolls on the top speed table with 2 skill (mod 2), he heads inside in First Curve for a wear in the 140 space.

Doug puts some distance between himself and Meng while Marshall goes a little slower than the field and loses 2 places.

Next Deadline: Turn 20 plots due Friday, November 13 at 9am EST/2pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 19 Results
Doug leaves Degner Curve behind at 140 and heads inside for T10. Meng slows to 100 on the racing line. Turyko and Jim both enter Degner Curve at 100 for free. Giovanni goes 140 and is forced to the outside of the corner. Marshall continues at 120 and finishes inside.

Ken plots 140, using the shortest route through Dunlap B and slides in ahead of Marshall. Chris goes 160 along the same route as Ken and pulls up beside him. Dave goes 140 through S-Curve B 100 space for a wear and the shortest route through Dunlap. Grant goes 140 through S-Curve A's lines for free and the 120s for a wear in S-Curve B. Joe finishes First Curve at 120 for a wear and takes the 120s through S-Curve A.

Hey Drivers - Doug gets through Hairpin with the chase pack closing things up again on the other side of Degner Curve.

Next deadline: Turn 21 plots due Monday, November 16 at 9am EST/2pm UTC (hard deadline).

Turn 20 Results
Doug goes 100 on the Hairpin line for 2 wear. Meng follows at 100 and grabs the line. Turyko races away from Degner Curve at 140 while eating a slice of birthday cake. Jim follows at 100 on the racing line for free. Giovanni also goes 100 on the outside and lines up behind Jim. Ken goes 100 on the line and pulls up next to Giovanni. Chris goes 100 through the outside and lines up behind Giovanni.

Marshall goes 120 aiming for the inside but instead re-routes to the outside for a wear and pulls up next to Chris. Dave goes 120 on the racing line for a wear and continues to close the gap. Grant goes 140 on the shortest route through Dunlap. Joe goes 140 through the S-Curve B 100 space and the shortest route through Dunlap, keeping pace with Grant.

Doug builds on his lead as Meng eases through the Hairpin. Turyko also clears that corner.

Next Deadline: Turn 22 plots due Wednesday at 9am EST/2pm UTC.

Turn 21 Results
Doug turns on the jets to top speed of 140 and heads through the inside lane. Meng drops to 60 and takes the Hairpin line for free. Turyko goes 100 and with the line blocked, reroutes to the outside for 2 wear. Jim goes 100 and grabs the racing line just before the corner.

Giovanni goes 120 and lines up inside of Jim. Ken also goes 120 but has to take the outside through T10 to avoid the brakes; he takes the line behind Jim. Chris and Marshall both plot 100 and attempt to slip. Chris takes the slip through the shortest route in T10 and finishes next to Ken. Marshall doesn't have room for the slip so he ends inside of T10 curve, behind Ken.

Dave exits Degner Curve at 140 and heads outside in T10. Both Grant and Joe take the inside lane and RL in Degner at 120 for a wear.
