NFATG reporters investigated allegations that members of an underground terrorist organization stole weapons of mass destruction from the Zambian government. These rumors appear to have stemmed from the fact that a nuclear missile destined for Cape Town actually arrived in Windhoek. After a lengthy investigation in which the President of Zambia, Robert Draniczarek, refused to make certain key witnesses available for questioning, it was concluded that the shipping label was marked incorrectly. Those responsible are rumored to have been executed, but no substantial evidence was found to corroborate this claim, except for a text message in which one low-level Zambian government official known as "The Executioner" gloated about "taking care of the problem" to his supervisor. Deflated after such a lengthy search for the truth, the reporters of NFATG returned home for a much-needed respite.

Elsewhere, peace has been wrested from the jaws of anarchy in Manaus by Brazilian troops in the area. Rumors of tasings and public beatings in the streets might have been exaggerated, but local businesses did report huge losses during the commotion in the aftermath of the terrorist bombing. Fortunately, there were no casualties, though the area hospitals are a bit overwhelmed after being inundated with a higher than usual patient count.

Also in South America, Paraguay was hit with yet another nuke strike. Local officials are asking that everyone permanently evacuate the area for fear of continued strikes. It is hoped that by the year 3045 they may be able to re-enter.

Speaking of nuclear strikes, please send all your sympathy cards to Italy. Ouch.

GM Notes
So apparently I accidentally put Zambia's nuke in Windhoek instead of Cape Town. The good news here is that it doesn't affect anything, and who knows...maybe the fine people of Windhoek had some unfinished business there. Clearly, they do not like Paraguay.

Regarding the bombarded cities of Santiago and Cordoba, this is the final season of their bombardment status from the terrorist bombings.

So in my initial adjudication, I destroyed Bolivia's dislodged unit in SCZ based on a lack of retreats. It was pointed out to me that he could actually retreat to GRA, which is true. I informed Bolivia of this oversight, and he ordered his retreat to GRA. Unfortunately for this unit, the retreat to GRA set off some land mines and destroyed it anyway. Sooooo...no changes to the map = no mistake right?
