NEWS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE: The previously untarnished Canadian Navy saw its first defeat at the hands of British forces in the North Atlantic this year. Reports indicate the Canadian prime minister gave the stink eye to the US president. Rumors are now circulating of malcontent between these two once solid allies. In South America, all kinds of things happened. We here at NFATG are still trying to sort it all out, but calls to the Presidents of each nation have gone unanswered. Apparently, they are all trying to figure out why nobody's support orders worked.
Meanwhile, in this time of war and strife, there is some good news. The great nations of Congo, Argentina, and Zambia all got together in the South Atlantic to sing songs of peace and prosperity. A good time was had by all, though reports out of Argentina suggest they felt like a bit of a third wheel.
Over in Asia, massive explosions rock the Himalayas and Bangalore. The Indian government has vowed vengeance for these actions. Further north, tragedy struck in Korea as the two super-powers of Russia and China conspired to remove their former ally. Like India, the Korean government has vowed vengeance, but it may have to wait until next time.
More pirate attacks off the coast of Malaysia prove costly to the Philippine navy, leaving their people unprotected.
