Apparently it's a new social networking site based out of Edmonton in which you can buy and sell pretend stocks.

I was just wondering if it's any good?

Ok so I received an invitation to create an Empire Avenue account and I just finished watching the introductory video.

The "stocks" are based on "influence", and influence is based on Facebook and Twitter updates. (I don't really use either so my online influence will be pretty minimal)

ok so everyone seems to be trying to catch the new people as they sign up (and their stocks are worth 10.00)

I wonder who players maintain the value of their stock.
