A couple of three things...
First, a little company out of China has been performing fairly well for me and has a decent track record, SORL Auto Parts. Keep an eye on them, you'll make money off of them.
Next, I am sick over how well CASS has done over the last year. I had watched this outfit for years. I remember thinking I should jump in when they were less than $5 last spring. Now it trades at $20. Unbelievable.
Finally, how about ORCL? Not bad since last March. They continue to steadily climb.
Anyone else out there with tips?
Dag

A year ago, when GM and Chrysler were needing a Government bailout and talking about bankruptcy, Ford was the only one of the three to say things weren't so bad for them. So I bought some Ford stock at $2, now it's at $9, the only real bright spot in my portfolio... I also bought Ford stock years ago at the equivalent of $8 and $25, but overall, I'm making good money on this pick and I'm holding onto this stock.
I think the Auto makers in general are due for a big rebound, and now is a good time to buy their stock, when the economy is bad but due to recover. When the economy gets better, people will start buying cars again, and how long will most people put off the purchase of a new car. A few years maybe...? I think any car company (not including GM or Chrysler) is a good buy right now if you plan to hold onto the stock for at least 5 to 10 years.
If you don't like Ford, then how about Honda or Toyota? Or what is that Chinese auto maker? That might be a good buy, as the Chinese are going to pass the USA and become the biggest buyers of cars.
